Ministry of Earth Sciences has brought out a special publication on detailed guidelines for seismic microzonationin, in the form of a Manual and Handbook . Hon'ble Minister of Earth Sciences and Science & Technology, Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh released these publications on October 14, 2011 at CSIR Auditorium, Anusandhan Bhawan, New Delhi during a workshop on the current scenario of seismic microzonation in India.
