The scientific and technical knowhow on Singapore model for crisis management was studied to build a similar framework of crisis management with mutual coordination and knowledge sharing. Model derived extended range forecast products (20 days lead time) are generated and shared regularly with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to enable proper decision and management related to forecasting and disaster management and preparedness activities. An exposure visit was held on 13 - 14 Jan 2020 between the officials of Qatar and IMD-MoES to discuss seamless execution of activities related to crisis management framework and implementation. |
